We're going with border collie mix of some kind. Maybe some sheperd in there or something. Not sure but the border collie shows in her personality!

Yes on the nose color. Mine is a red nosed. They also have short leg and long leg, labs. Yellow labs and Silver, a debatable lab color amongst Old world Lab lovers, Have varied nose colors. Black labs have black noses, very few will have a red, sometime you do see a partial red on a black lab. Chocolate labs have a chocolate nose to match their darkness of coat. 

My sister was a breeder and still has a rainbow of labs around.
