I'm sure there are specific cases which are an exception....but all the adults I've ever met that were homeschooled as a child have been weird as hell. I don't know if it's a trend or not...but I sure as hell am not going to do that to my kid!

I have several friends/coworkers that were homeschooled. All of them are very intelligent and not in the least weird. I kind of envy them. The girls I know never experienced bullying and don't have a lot of self esteem issues.

LOL some homeschooled kids are weird, some public school kids are weird, some private school kids are weird. Social awkwardness is normal, and some homeschooled kids are more awkward than others. It really all depends on social interaction.

Funny, everyone said the same thing to us when we first started researching homeschooling but NO ONE could introduce us to a single homeschooling family. 

Besides, I've met plenty of weird public schoolers...feel sorry for them too?

I know a few families who home school and their kids are awesome! However, their mom's are SUPER smart and are great teachers! I kinda feel bad when mom is home schooling and she isn't very knowledgeable but who am I to judge.
