For choosing not to have kids?
I was reading an article about couples who decided not to have kids and how people view them as selfish.. Personally i dont..lol..sometines i envy them..but then i look at my rugrats and know i cant live without them now..

I don't think they're selfish. That's their preference. We were a childless couple for almost four years before deciding to have a kid.



Maybe they know they're not ready for that step.

No, they have different priorities. Kids are a lifetime committment. Some people aren't looking for that.

Yes kinda but not in a negative way. i dont view all selfishness are negative there is a time where you need to be and rather or not you have kids is one of those times.

I think they're smart!! They know what they want out of life and make the mature decision to not bring a child into a home that doesn't want them. Hell, they should get an award for using bc correctly for their entire lives lol!!

No, either they don't want children. Which so what there is there choice and they know what they want in life. Then there are some like a few in my family that can't have children. So they are childless because they can't.
