I brought the same clothes I had been wearing. Meaning maternity jeans, dresses and my husbands t shirts. I am more into being comfortable. Also, I am fat and gained 40lbs so going back to my pre baby clothes was not an option. I do have a couple friends who wore there prebaby clothes home, but they didnt gain as much as me. The day after the baby was born I actually didnt even wear clothes because I still couldnt stand to have anything touch my skin.
Comfy clothes... I get overly warm easy, so I packed light clothes.
With both my kids I just brought yoga pants and a tshirt.
I was insane and thought all the weight was going to be completely gone. Good damn thing I packed sweats.
Dont forget, unless you have a planned c-section chances are you are still going to be totally exhausted the day after.
