I think my youngest son has the flu. He is really sick this morning coughing and fever. He says he hurts all over. He looks awful.
The last thing we need is the flu going through the house with the baby coming any time. I don't want the baby exposed. I also don't want to have to labor and deliver with the flu. Omg, what a nightmare.
One thing I can assure you of is that you and baby are use to whatever germs are in your home and if you are being exposed right now to the flu(which it sounds like you are) then your body is already making antibodies to fight this particular stain of flu and if you are nursing once baby is here they will get those antibodies to help them fight it also.
Do you realize how dangerous the flu can be? Especially for a newborn. This is a legitimate concern. If you are just going to be a bitch, don't open her posts.

Of course.

That's all I'm reading here.
damn woman stock up on anything vitamin C and zinc. Lots of oranges, orange juice. white tea helps kill viruses in the body and lysol and bleach everything. you got this!!!!

It is pretty sad that you can't see the potential of how bad it can be. A perfectly healthy woman in her 50's that I know died last week from the flu. But, hey, if the thought of sick newborns gets you off, more power to you.

Oh, no! Another crisis for you! Whatever will you do?
Quoting TrouserMouse:
Cool stuff since the flu can kill newborns.

I'm laughing at the anonymous haters, too.
You just keep washing your hands, love. And take some zinc or echinacea... and that Oscillowhatsits. That'll fix ya.
She realizes it. That's why she's anonymous.

So many problems for you. :(
You don't know the half of it, sister.

Oh no!!!!! Can you send him away for a few days? As terrible as that sounds... Let him go to grandma's and rest or something for a few days, just til you see if he's sick?
I couldn't imagine being in labor and having the flu, omg.
OMG, I hope not! Take some vitamin C and wear a mask to avoid breathing in the germs! good luck :(
