Baby shower for your third baby.

Is it appropriate? To be honest, I never really expected one but my MIL is insisting. It is making me feel a little uncomfortable but she has her heart set on it. My last child was 5 years ago. So I am just wondering what is appropriate.

Have one and enjoy it! I was thrown a shower for each pregnancy. My first 2 were only a year and a half apart, but first was girl, second was boy. I also gotone for my 3rd, but that was because it was 12 years later! LOL I no longer had any baby stuff, lol!

I only expected a shower with my 1st child. I had 3. I was at the same place of employment with my 1st 2 children, and they gave me a shower for the first one (not the 2nd one) and with my 3rd I was working a different place and they had one for me...but I certainly didn't expect one. But of course I had 3 kids in 4 years.... so my situation was different
The only time I actually hosted a shower for someone with another child was when she got pg after her oldest (and only) was 22, lol! So when you have 2 decades between kids, sure - another shower is appropriate :-)

I don't care if a person has babies 9 months apart, every baby should be celebrated.

It's "you're". You're projecting your own issues. You never got under my skin. It's just weird to see someone get so worked up as you have. "I hate selfishness and greediness. It's a pet peeve". You're trying too hard to be nonchalant about the whole thing, but admitted your strong feelings towards the op.
