They are both just as bad and one tends to lead to the other.

A better option is to actually learn to communicate and work together to get to a happy place.

Neither. If he's not happy with me, I'd rather he tell me so we can work it out or separate.

I made the mistake of cheating on him because I was unhappy with him and resented him. It wasn't a good time when it all came out. I would never recommend that to anyone.

Option 3: my husband should talk to me about his feelings and if they are strong enough that he resents me and would cheat on me, then we need to be getting some kind of counceling if not filing for divorce.

I would rather he act like an adult and talk to me.  If he's going to act like a little bitch ass coward and sulk and cheat, he can get his shit and go.

Hmm. I think resentment is worse than cheating. I would not want to live with someone who resented me because it wouldn't even be worth staying in the same home with him. He would just bring me down and probably never come near me. I think that would hurt worse than being cheated on. I've been cheated on. Although i wouldn't want him to cheat instead, at least he wouldn't be home and hate me for coming into his life.

Either way, I'd divorce his ass. I ain't puttin up with that shit.

Both are the same imo, and one usually leads to the other anyway.

Neither? He's mature enough to talk to me about it if he's feeling that way, and we can figure it out from there...
