Married before having a wedding

Is there anyone here that went down to the court house, got married, and then had their wedding ceremony later?

We plan to have a wedding later when we can have the wedding we want. We married April 2011 in the court house.

Yep, nothing wrong with that! alot of people never even have A ceremony.. Its all about what they decide they want..

I say save the money you would have spent on a ceremony and have a nice honeymoon.

If we ever get married, we may do it that way, haha...except it'd be a reception, instead of another ceremony...

Yup. I had to to get my passport and get on my DH's orders for Japan in time.
