sinus issues and all i can smell is vinegar

I have a cold, had it for a week. I am 85% stuffed up 90% of the time. All i can smell is vinegar!i haven't eaten or used vinegar in 3 days and this started today.

Think i should be concerned?

 That is strange. Have you tried a saline nose spray to wash out your sinuses?

Anaerobic bacteria in the upper sinuses.  You need to either flush your sinuses with saline for days to kill it, or get antibiotics.

Well thats great. I have some antibiotics left i'll tske those...

Nope. Im broke. Getting my car back on the road took every cent i got in returns :/

 Ah I understand, been pretty broke here too. My family has had that sinus crap the past couple weeks. Last week my 14 yr old and I was sick with it, now my dh. So we got each of us some nasal spray, about $3.00 each bottle (not a top brand) just the cheap, it works just as well. And a nasal decongestant, a knock off brand of sudafed. Got it at the pharmacy near where I live. It too was about $3.00. And worked better than the prescription meds.
