If you allow your child to sit or stand in the back of the grocery cart.....

I think you are a horrible parent. Do you know that children have been seriously injured and even killed in falls from the back of the cart? I have seen a child about 2 years old fall out of the back of the cart and had to call an ambulance because he was bleeding so badly from a head wound. He ended up having a skull fracture. I think it is irresponsible of parents to even take the chance that their child could be hurt. So if you do allow this then why? And what makes you think your child won't be injured?

Thank you. I'm sure you do some things that make people think you are a horrible parent as well.

I think they're asking for a cracked skull.

I allow my 4 year old to sit in the back of the cart. She knows not to stand and I don't leave her unattended. My child won't be injured because I pay attention to her and she was TAUGHT to not stand up. Not that hard to manage.

Yes I do allow my 5 and/or 3 yo to sit back thre, not stand. Why? Because they can keep busy back there with a snack or video game and I can get my shopping done in peace.

Children have been seriously harmed playing in the park as well... does that mean you are a bad parent for letting your kid swing on the monkey bars?
