Has anyone heard of this!? updated, UPDATE again! Now With Experiment!

Posted by   + Show Post
New idea. We need pregnant moms and non pregnant moms to try the ideas at the bottom and to post what happened and what test you tried.

Using pine sol as a homemade pregnancy test? Did you do it and was it true, did it work?

Update...apparently it changes colors when you add your pee into it, it turns like a bright green color.

2nd update! Ok so now I wanna turn this into something else. I want to test out homemade test with our pg mommy's and non pg mommy's. So ladies I need all the homemade test ideas that are out there and I will list them here. And then I would like all the pg mommy's to do them and post what they tried and their results (what the test did) and then I want our non pg mommy's to do the same! This sounds like fun, I love science, lol.

Homemade pregnancy tests

*Pine-Sol --mix it with your urine

Pregnant result- just turned a brighter yellow
* Mr. Clean --mix with urine

I've heard of using bleach as a test, if your pg and add your pee it supposed to fizz like crazy.

What color did it turn?

Quoting laranadtony:

Yes and it does not work and scared the pee, wine and piss out of me last year.

It looks like it turns a bright greenish yellow and it bubbles like hell.

1 mom liked this
So I'm guessing you'd have to use the regular pine-sol? I'm kinda partial to the purple one.

This just cracked me up lmao!

Quoting laranadtony:

The best homemade pregnancy test is to put a donut up in there.  Wait one hour and take it out.  If there is a bite gone out of it, you are pregnant AND the kid is hungry.

Me either till I watched this show called Southies on A&E. So I was curious if this is real and if anyone has done it and if it worked.

Quoting HaleyCovington:

No. I just took a ept. I've never even herd of that.

I know! Maybe I should start a post with all the crazy home remedy tests and have all our pg mommy's try them and see what there results are and have our non pg mommy's do it too so we see their results. Now I just need some homemade test ideas besides the pine-sol and bleach.

No but now I want to go pee on some pine sol. Who was the woman that thought "I'm bored ..hmmm I'm going to go pee on my kitchen floor"?

Random fact: did you know Lysol, as is, was originally marketed to be a douche? It claimed it helped fight infection and could be used As birth control. Duh! It started making women sterile. So they pulled it and released it a while later as a surface disinfectant. Crazy right?
