Do you feel it's changed you?
My DF was or is a marine and he says he's not the same anymore. He used to b playful and joke all the time now not so much.

Because my husband decided drugs and alcohol are more important than family and military career. I stood by him through rehab and a court martial just to have him go back to drugs.

What branch? Who takes care of your kid when you deploy, now that you are single?

In someways yes it has changed me. But I still love to laugh and joke and will do anything to help a friend.

I am not as sensitive as I used to be. I don't cry as easily.

Air Force. I haven't deployed since I became single. But dd would stay with my brother and SIL.
