1) You don't respond to an email within 24-48 hours.

2) You punish the whole class when there are behavior issues.

3) When you make an error and fail to apologize for it.

4) When you preach your religious, political, or idealogical beliefs to your class.

5) When you tell my child butterflies don't smile.

6) When you tell my child that the Eucharist isn't the Body and Blood of Christ.

7) You can't stay over 15 minutes to meet with a parent.

8) You assume your students' parents are less intellectual than you or that you know the child better than the parent.

9) You become defensive right away instead of working to solve a problem cooperatively.

10)  And most annoying...You say you want involved parents, but then you get annoyed when we ask questions, etc...

Waiting almost two weeks to send receipts home when I send money for field trips. I haven't had that problem in the last couple of years though.

I HATE #2!!!  Group punishment is a lazy solution. Children should not be responsible for  other children's behavior!

A)  He's a kindergartner... who cares if he draws a butterfly smiling!?!

B)  Are you sure?  Maybe they just don't smile at you.  lol.  That's what big sis wanted to tell the teacher.

Why are they talking about the Eucharist in school in the first place?  Do your children attend a catholic school?

That actually was at a Catholic school from a supposed Catholic herself.

However, even if it were public school, if my child brought up his beliefs for some reason, I would think it fair that the teacher neither support nor negate a child's belief system.  That is not there place.

You expect me to be a mediator of behavior when my child is misbehaving at school. I am not allowed to be there- you deal with it! I take care of her behavior at home, it's not my fault you don't know how to handle different behaviors after I told you multiple times how to discipline her at school.

Please stop teaching to the test! My child will never learn anything if that's all they know is taking tests.

When they try to "diagnose" your child with something because "they've seen it so many times before"...
