One of the highest honors as a woman *Updated with a question*

I agree with this.

Here is the Blog article that goes along with it and It makes me agree with that statement even more.

Update with a question

For those of you that disagree, why? This perplexes me, because it does not say ONLY, is says One of the highest honors, which means there is room for others. And why wouldn't someone be Honored to be their husbands wife? I don't understand.I honestly do think that a woman has a lot of influence on her husband, and her children as well.

Nope. the highest in today's society is getting an abortion. It shows that your are a modern woman who takes charge of her body and refuses to conform to the weak minded belief that abortion is unnatural.

Crazy.

Yes, while it IS an honor to be a mother, the core of the family is the husband and wife. We all know who REALLY runs the household---the wife.

I very much agree it is ONE of the highest honors.  How shameful to call being a wife an honor!

OP, by your definition, what does it mean from the saying--"the most influential woman in her husband's world?" And do you feel the same way about a husband to his wife?
