It can be yes.
What do you consider "regular school"? Do you mean public school or do you include private school?
It's not a matter of better or worse. It depends on the school, the students, the teachers, and the child in question. For some kids public school is better, for others it's homeschooling, for still others, it's private school that works best for them.
Not in every situation.
It's better for *us*, but that's all I can attest to.
I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol). Aimee
It depends on where the kid thrives best.
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" Romans 14:19
It's not a one size fits all. For some it is better, for some it may not be.
I've looked into home schooling , I didn't do it because I wasn't sure if I could get the same level of cooperation from my kids as the teacher can , I also wanted them to have some socialization with other children
I tried really hard not to say it, but I have to.
Homeschooled children do have "some socialization with other children". Do your children only socialize at school?

It's not better, just different.
