- My kids are cyber-schooled. Not to worry they do get to socialize. Plus, I like having a teacher to bounce ideas off at times. Since starting to cyber-school my kids have advanced quite well. My oldest is finishing up 7th grade math in a few weeks and is in g/t classes otherwise. My youngest son is in g/t classes and my daughter will be next year since she will finally be in 3rd grade.
- I sometimes think of sending them back to a regular school but I still believe this is the best. They do not complain.
- I usually keep a tight schedule around here or else things fall to pieces quickly.
- SO is supportive of my decision to cyber-school.
- I am taking classes to get a degree in education, so I can eventually straight homeschool once the kids are older. Also, so I can get a teaching job once they go away to college. That will keep me from being home, bored all day.
- Yes. I am aware my plans are backwards but to me, being here for my kids now is my main priority. I don't need to work. I am not saying women shouldn't work and should only be SAHMs by any means. This just works for me.

Ah ok, that's cool :-). Dd is 4 and used abc mouse.com and starfall. She isn't great at computers and would prefer paper, but I think cyber school is an awesome option!!
