Dd was telling me about going out to eat with her granny and grandpa.
Me: where did u go?
Her: I dunno
Me: what kind of food?
Her: Mexican food. And those little chocolate things with mint
Me: are you sure it was Mexican?
Her: yea. Every time we go there I see Mexicans.

One time talking to her daddy.
Dd "daddy do u shave ur legs?"
DH "......uh, no...."
Dd "well you should. Because if you don't you'll have much hair like a cat"

Same dd
"awe, poor tree......it's all naked."
It was winter time.

My 5 yr old son came out a few days back in the morning and said "Good Morning Mommy! I had a really refreshing sleep!" I just thought it was such a grownup phrase for such a little boy

Today? "I made you this because I love you SO MUCH!" It was a drawing of a bunch of hearts =)

He's done/said so many things it's hard to keep track. One of the funnier instances I recall:

When he was ~3 (maybe 2?) he was getting into trouble in the kitchen. I took his hand and tried to walk him out but instead he FLUNG himself into the living room as if I had thrown him, landed on his knees, buried his face in his hands and sobbed "Oh god, WHYYYYY?" I have no idea where he learned that - maybe he was watching soaps with his grandma? It was so overly dramatic, especially coming from a toddler!

My son is 15 months and refuses to speak unless its on his terms. So he rarely says anything. So my mom is drinking coffee and he comes up and just stares at her. She said no no grandmas coffee. He looks at and says " I dink ( drink) coffee mmmm gud ( good) I dink peas ( please). He was so earnest about it, it was precious.

DS was having lunch one day. I don't remember what I had served him but he took a bite, chewed it a little...and then spit it out into his hand. He looks at me and says "no like dat....mommy ee-dit (eat it)".

What am I? Human garbage disposal?

My son has said a couple of cute things. The one I always remember is one time he was touching his neck...idk why....but he felt his pulse and gasped out of the blue and was like mommy mommy look! touch it! and then I told him it was his pulse and he said...can you take it out...he was so amazed cuz i guess he's never felt that before. He always makes funny face expressions it's hilirious. I can't think of any more at the moment.
