Ds is 20mnths and he has already had surgery on his eye. he has continued getting them since. the ones he gets dont grow as much as the first one. The dr gave me neo-polycin and i have been putting it in his eye twice a day.

is there anything i can do to prevent them from coming out

i use to get them when i was younger.  DS gets them occasionally.  clean warm wet compress usually helps.

I do that daily. When one goes away another one pops up. i just noticed he has another big one by his tear duct area. im scared he is going to need another surgery. the one i just saw is pretty big. im taking him to the specialist monday morning

i have never heard of surgeries for a sty? they usually just rupture. my kids are prone to them too. I get them occasionally and just pluck out the infected eye-lash so they can drain. i do the warm wash clothes with my kids to encourage the sty to rupture.

It got so big and it was hard like a little marble under his eyelid. the dr called it a calazion.
