does your child/children wear glasses?

How old were they whem they had to get them? How bad was there eyesight?

My little boy is 3 and he has to wear glasses and in 3 months they will retest and most likely patch the good eye so the brain makes the other eye work harder...how common is this?

2 of my 3 children wear Glasses. My Middle son had to have surgery for lazy eye.

My daughter has worn bifocals since she was 2. My first and only clue there was a problem was when she started crossing one eye when she turned 2. She has accommodative esotropia. We have tried patching & it hasn't worked so we will be doing surgery this summer. She's 6 today :)

 My daughter got hers when she was 5.

Does he have convergence insufficiency? When I had that as a kid, they did the same thing with the patch, it was to strengthen the weaker eye.
