does your child/children wear glasses?

How old were they whem they had to get them? How bad was there eyesight?

My little boy is 3 and he has to wear glasses and in 3 months they will retest and most likely patch the good eye so the brain makes the other eye work harder...how common is this?

My daughter had the exact same issue! She got glasses when she was 4, though our current eye doctor said our old doc should have caught the issue much earlier.

So far, so good. We are seeing progress with her weak eye and haven't had to patch it.

My son got glasses when he was 6. He is slightly more near sighted every year. Right now he is -0.75 and -1.25.

Not yet. I think my youngest is having issues seeing. She sits super close to the TV and squints sometimes. I just don't know how to get her checked because she will not talk to anyone or let anyone near her enough to check her eyes. She's almost 3.

She was 6, severely near sighted. She is 14 now and her vision is not fully correctable, we have done hard contacts and eye therapy. Her script changes about 2 times a year and her glasses are crazy expensive.

 No, my 3 kids don't wear glasses yet but both DH and I do so it's probably only a matter of time....

my 10 year old wear glasses which she started to wear them last year..she is like me and has astigmatism. My husband and I wear glasses.
