Why are so many of you on the illegal immigrants side?

I'm trying to understand why so many people are against finding them and enforcing deportation.

I'm not on the "illegal immigrants" side, I'm on the side of humanity.

While I do believe that people should do things legally, I would not go as far as to say that all of the laws pertaining to immigration were created with integrity.

Because we were all immigrants at one time and I think they deserve a chance at freedoms their countries do no offer.

Because I understand American history, American ideology and the practical application thereof and I understand scapegoating an the stupidity of it.

Personally because the ones I know are only trying to make a better life for their family and they work their asses off. That's a hell of a lot more than I can say for some American born citizens.
