I just found out that I have herpes. I freaked out and feel so alone and dirty. I had this yeast infection and found ONE little sore. They swabbed it and it came back positive. I have been with my partner for a year and apparently Herpes can stay dormant for years. My SO was tested and his was negative. So I have no clue where I got it from. I feel so dirty and alone and overwhelmed with the news. It is scary for me.:(

 

You would need a blood test to see if you have herpes. Some people never have an outbreak. Even a sample from a sore could come up negative if you do have herpes. And herpes isnt a routine STD check.

I've only been with one person, so I'm going to say confidantly that to the best of my knowledge- no. I do not have the Herpe.

Nope I have been tested every year and have only slept with my DH. If i get some STD i will kick his ass.

No. I've only been with 2 men and both were virgins when we got together and were faithful. My first and I were both virgins.

No thank god but I do get cold sores when I'm extremely sick. It is very common tho.
