What is behind my sons ears??

My son is 5 months old. Hes had this crusty stuff behind his ears for a few months now. I clean it out very often, but the next day its back. i give him a bath every other day, Ive tied giving him more baths, less baths..nothing works. There was more but i took it off before the pic..Any advice???


eta: He used to have bad cradel cap on his head, i finally got rid of it a month ago

eczema. use coconut oil.

looks like an over-production of oil and dried skin, kind of like cradle cap maybe?

Looks like cradle cap. It usually starts behind the ears because its a moist environment.

Eczema. Looks exactly like my DSs. Moisterize it and take him to the pedi so they can diagnose it and give you medication, if needed

Cradle cap. Our pediatrician said to put Vaseline on it every day until it goes away

Looks like cradle cap, pick the crud out and put vasoline on it!

Cradle cap or eczema. I apply lotion on my son, very thick application, wait a few minutes and wipe it off.
