Unwed mothers and illegitimate children.

Illegitimate children are now suddenly legitimate? It wasn't that long ago that a single unwed mother couldn't properly register her bastard child. WTF? It's just another example of "Everyone gets an award." Women used to be shamed out of having kids out of wedlock. A single unwed mother was an outcast. She knew she did wrong, and paid the price for it. That kept women pure. What the fuck happened?!?!?!?! Suddenly it's ok to sleep with every guy in town and not know who the father of your child is? And not only is it ok, but we approve it by giving them assistance to take care of their bastard children? More than ever, a woman in today's world has no excuse to get pregnant outside of rape or incest. There are a million forms of birth control, something that wasn't available to women only a few generations ago. You could even use more than one form if you want to! There's no excuse! And now that we have DNA testing, I think once a man of an illegitimate child is proven the father, he shouldn't be forgiven either. Castrate him and prevent him from deflowering other poor unsuspecting women! Where the hell did we go wrong as a society? Over the years we should have become more strict. Instead, we have 48hr marriages, and unwed women with 3 different kids with 3 different men. This is the new normal. SMDH.
women were also sent away by their families to abort or go to a home.
The ignorance of your rant is appalling. Perhaps as a society we should do the right thing and "dispose" of the poor bastard children at birth. Or maybe it would be better if the poor mothers were shipped away and had their babies forcibly taken from them. And did you seriously just say the father should be castrated? I'm glad most people have better critical thinking skills than that.
Why does it matter if women are pure? Why does it matter if they are married? If you think you should be pure for marriage than by all means keep yourself pure until marriage. You however have no right or authority to push off your convictions on me or anyone else for that matter.
Mine's too. Hmmm...food for thought.
Quoting Mamabear010:My husband is a "Bastard." I wonder if that means our children are bastards by default.
