Tell me how to prepare for wisdom teeth removal. I am scared :(

Going on Tuesday afternoon to have all four wisdom teeth extracted. It has to be done as they have caused a bunch of trouble in my life as of recently (had to leave school until next year because I have basically flunked out due to absences because of pain and illness caused by impaction and infection).

If you have done this, what is the best way to prepare?

I had to be sedated or I would have never gone. Good luck, you'll be fine :)

I would love to know myself as I also have to have all four of mine out next month, so I don't have a good suggestion, but here's a bump for you! Good luck! =)

I wish I had something to tell ya but I don't know. I need mine out and can't afford it. So I sit here in pain till my insurance will start covering something.

Goodluck!

Nothing really to prepare for. Just go have it done and have someone drive you. Then sleep!good luck!

They sudate you and someone will be there to take you home;) You are so out of it that you won't know what's going on. The recovery isn't that bad. Good luck

I was K.O lol seriously though, think of how much the pain will go down after they're gone. I had mine removed last year and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting. You'll be fine :)

I had IV sedation when they removed mine, my DD had amnesia medicine when they removed hers. She had a lot less problems than I did. Make sure you have easy soft foods for when you get home, because you won't feel like making anything for a couple of days.

You will be just fine. Nothing to do to prepare.

When its all said and done, you will be so happy you did it!

I had mine out years ago because they were causing me problems. This past fall I had all of my top teeth removed and got a denture. It was a walk in the park!

Get ice cream and any liquids you will want to drink.

Mine are infected and impacted too. Im just waiting to get dental insurance.
