For the past three days she has had a hacking wet cough, runny nose, and now yesterday started having diarrhea and decreased appetite. I don't want to go in and have them say to just put a humidifier in the room and she just has a cold and waste my time.  What would you fine ladies do?

She has an ear infection.

I already would have done it.

But I only have 1 child.....so I have a tendency to overreact to everything.

I hope your little one starts getting better very soon.

I know some offices just have you come in but ours is great about connecting you to a nurse to see how serious it is first. Try to call and speak to a nurse first or call a pharmacy and get suggestions.

How decreased?
Runny nose can cause the shits from swallowing the snot. It can.also cause the decreased appetite.
I hope your bebe feels better soon.

Has she had a fever?  With her being so little I would probably take her in.  I hope she feels better soon!

My son has been getting progressively worse with his cough and sounds congested. I am at the hospital now where they said it sounds like croup but I'm waiting to see a doctor. My son is 3 months also.

Is there a nurse's line you can call?
