I started with a temp agency , worked as a temp for 2 weeks and then was hired on by the company.

Most jobs want u to apply online but I got my job through an employee referral from my brother. Knowing someone always helps.

I went to college for teaching. All through college I worked at a daycare. Once I graduated I applied at every school district I could. All applications were done online.

What do you mean? Are you unsure of how to start your search, or unsure of what you want to do? Or both? Not sure exactly what you are asking for.

Any job? Or one that allows to to work from home?

I'm a WAHM, and I found a job that allows this through friends.

My last corporate job I found through the Internet. LinkedIn is a great tool for this. I am still on LinkedIn and I still get notifications of available jobs, that are suited to my skill sets, on a weekly basis.

I've used monster.com, careerbuilder.com, LinkedIn, and my state's online job board.  I'm also registered with several staffing agencies, though often they're not doing much more than filling their stable.
