Walmart VS the Morons!!

I know lots of folks don't like Wal-Mart, but this is fascinating.

This is spot-on.

Wal-Mart vs. The Morons

1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March
17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco

K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private
employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and
keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are
Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur
at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.
You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground
work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart
to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans… Democrats,
Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,
it is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons:

a. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234
years to get it right and it is broke.

b. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to
get it right and it is broke.

c. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get
it right and it is broke.

d. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it
right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to
"the poor" and they only want more.

e. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44
years to get it right and they are broke.

f. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get
it right and it is broke.

g. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our
dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of
$24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get
it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our
throats while overspending our tax dollars.

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end
up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected' (they never read anything)
and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

I know what's wrong. We have lost our minds to "Political Correctness"

Someone please tell me what is wrong with all the people that
run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless
etc. and the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey and now
Pakistan ( the previous home of bin Laden). literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do
they get any breaks.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children
going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medicines, and mentally ill
without treatment, etc.

Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave U. S. the same support they give to
other countries. Sad isn't it?

I really didn't read all of this... but this little list isn't going to change the fact that Walmart plays a very big part in the ruin of our economy.

Walmart is not a good example for fixing the economy. A very large portion of their workers are on PA because Walmart doesn't pay them enough to support their families. They buy a lot from overseas too.

Walmart actually destroys the economy. I refuse to shop there.

Walmart works because they do everything cheaply. Do you want your mom and dad having "cheap" Medicare and reduced social security? Shall we put the elderly in 100 sq ft rooms with student doctors so its more "affordable?" Do you want your mail thrown on your lawn by a teenager, much like the newspaper is?

I'm all for cutting some welfare, but the poor with the "gimme" mentality aren't going to sit back and accept it.  Who do you think they will rob first to support their current lifestyle? The housing market, eh, I dunno how Walmart-style would fix anything. Evict people if they don't pre-pay? Walmart's pre-paid world work because turning off a phone or a green dot card doesn't require Walmart to get anything back from the customer.

Have you read about the Walton family?  They are one of the richest families with a net worth of over $102 billion dollars.   YET- their company has some of the lowest wages in the country.  Not only do they have low wage, but they have a policy NOT to give employees fulltime hours.  That ensures that the Waltons make even more money because they don't have to provide people with things like paid vacations and medical care.  The Waltons just double the number of stupid people they hire, and they give them all low numbers of hours.  They have learned it helps to control people if they keep them at the poverty level.  The employees will be fearful about losing their job.

The Walton family is also known for having everything crafted in sweat shops for the lowest possible costs.  So American jobs?  Gone with the Waltons.

The only thing they are really good at that should be emulated is their logistics system.  They were the first company to tag every, single thing with RFID.

The largest employer in the US is the Federal Government.  The Feds have over 2.1 million employees.  How would you like it if they cut the working hours of all 2.1 million Americans down to 20 hours forcing them into poverty and on assistance.  Then doubling the number of them to fill in the extra hours without proper training.  SO now you'd have 4.2 million Americans living below the poverty level, on public assistance for FS and medical,  beholden to a family who only does what is best for the family.

This is why what is best for business, is not always best for the country.

The guys that run Wal-mart are known as assholes and only care about the bottom dollar.

Do we really want someone who is willing to fire the good workers who deserve a raise (long term, hard workers) in order to hire the lower-wage workers (don't care, just need a job, will quit soon anyway), only to make sure they don't go above X number of hours a week, because then they'd have to pay for benefits too?

They also are not real big on the "made in america" scene so most of their junk comes from china. That doesn't really help America.

Wal-mart ruined the small business scene. For each Walmart opened in a city, it forces the little mom and pop stores to close, because they can't compete. THAT is a main reason I refuse to work or shop at Walmart.

No thanks.

Because Obama and the members of legislature are the only people at fault for these "broke government services"?
