Getting all four wisdom teeth removed today and I am freaking terrified. At least they're putting me under.

I had mine taken out a few years ago. It's really not that bad at all.  I was really nervous beforehand too though.

I had mine out, just Novocain and it was no big thing.

Good luck. My iv fell out three times and I woke up during the procedure. I didn't have dental insurance at the time and had it done at the dental school. Yeah, never again.

I had this done a few years ago.

It's easy, I promise :o)

They very lightly put you under (conscious sedation) and you are under for just a short period of time.  I actually remember bits and pieces of the actual procedure, like the doctor and nurse talking, but felt absolutely no pain at all.

Then I woke up in the recovery room and they sat me up, talked to me, and I went home.

I had chicken and dumplin's for dinner, watched movies and snoozed.  The next day I was up and around.

It really was very easy.

Ouch! My sister attends those surgeries, it's hardcore getting those suckers out.

I don't have dental either, but have chosen to pay out the nose for the best oral surgeon in the area. I am scared enough doing that. Props to you for being ballsy enough to do it at a dental school.
