Why are converse so darn expensive?

For what they are $60 just seems like a lot! Plus shipping because my daughter wanted burgandy ones. I don't mind spending $60 or even more on a pair of shoes for her she's 14 so it's not like she tears her shoes up or outgrows them in a week converse just seem so cheaply made. Uh well as long as she has shoes shes happy with I'm happy. I'll stick to my $30 on sale nike running shoes.

You think that they're cheaply made? Hmm. I've had a pair for over 5 years. Never had a single problem with wear and tear. They're still in great shape though I don't wear them daily I do wear them often.

Do you have an outlet near you? They usually carry more colors at outlets AND no shipping. =) Much cheaper too!

Then you say no and pick a different kind of shoe or you tell her to pay for them on her own.

they last for ever ..well at least the pairs i have own well worth the money too. waiting from my son to get a bit older to let him design his own :)

They are worth it. My dd has lots of Converse. They last her awhile and she is really hard on shoes.
