eReader for four year old?

We travel a lot for business and pleasure and I'm thinking about getting a cheap eReader for my four year old. She's a pretty advanced kid and having a kindle thing will be easier than lugging around a bunch of books. Any suggestions on which one to get?

Mine have Nabi 2 tablets. You can put the Kindle or Nook App on them and they are child-safe with a password for parents to prevent accidental purchases.

A kindle fire should be fine, but I bet your 4 year old would prefer to use it for apps than real books. We have a kindle and the kids are not amused by the actual books on it, but they do love playing games on phones and tablets in general.

My son LOVES his iPad. Great books, reading, math and spelling apps. Tons of puzzle apps. He has learned a lot from it.
