Mama Mio stretch mark butter. Does this stuff really work to prevent stretch marks??? I keep hearing how its so amazing and even the reviews are all great. But I feel skeptical. I used Jergens life stages Pregnancy lotion with my first but they stopped making it :( ... But I didn't get any the first time so I'm hoping if I keep lotioned up again this time I will be good!

I used good old Palmers Cocoa butter, worked for me.  A lot of people say that lotions etc don't make any difference, it's all genetics.  Who knows.

Ya Ive heard that too but its hard to say. My mom is very tiny like I am but she got stretch marks BAD...So I assumed I would too but I didn't. I even got them on my boobs during puberty so I thought for sure!! But nope! Its weird

My theory was lotion can't hurt!!  I spread all over myself like I was basting a turkey, I didn't get any.  I'm fairly thin, but in no way tiny:)

I used St. Ives collagen and elastin when I was pregnant with my twins and got no stretch marks

I used nothing when I was pregnancy with my youngest. Still got no stretch marks.

Pretty sure it's all genetics though.

I used palmers, I guess it worked? I have a couple but I've seen some women with a LOT. I didn't put as much on my boobs as my belly and I have many more there then anywhere else, so I think it worked..

1 mom liked this

Ya that's what I thought! I was the same way.. I probably put it on at least 6 times a day by my third trimester! I was so paranoid LOL.
