I don't allow my girls to wear skirts or dresses to school....

Do you think this is unreasonable?  I just feel that pants or shorts are more appropriate for school. They both hate it but I just cant help the way I feel about it. I don't have a reason to distrust anyone at the school but I have 2 close people who had things happen to them at school by male teachers. Just wondering if I am alone in this whole no skirts or dresses at school thing.

Have them wear shorts under it, that seems kind of harsh. A friend with five daughters has them wear tights in full length and capri length, or short gymnastic types shorts.

I always make my dd wear Capri length leggings under hers so she can play on the playground without flashing everyone.

I don't think it's unreasonable either.  If mine did, she'd wear shorts or leggings under it.
