S/O I got my ex's entire refund check today

I have remarried, and my husband has a lot of bitterness towards my ex. So, we keep child support separate, and only spend it on the child from my first marriage. I have gotten a lot of crap on here for not spending it on all my children, since that makes my oldest seem favored.

This is a spin off of a post where a woman said she was using a percentage of back child support to set aside as savings for each of her children, and she keeps getting told that's not fair because that money is only meant for the children she shares with her ex-husband.

So nothing makes you people happy, right?

Of course everyone's going to have an opinion and think theirs is the only opinion that's right. But, really, if its the best choice for YOUR family, then it's right for YOU.

No nothing make some of these mom's happy lol! When I do get support I spend in on whoever I want and whatever I want. If the family needs food, shampoo/conditioner....anything that's what I buy. If not I get all the kids something sometimes or gas in my truck. Whatever the house needs I get with it....if we don't need anything I hold onto it or treat us to something fun. I get bashed by some people for it but oh well!

It's none of anyones business how others spend their cs.  The cs my mother got from my father was just put into the family money and expenses.  Everyone had what they needed/wanted.  End of story.
