Just kidding. Needed to draw you in to my boring question ;)

I need advice. I want to paint my front door yellow. I currently have dark green shutters that need a new coat of paint. Should I keep my shutters dark green or paint them a different color like dark brown? My roof is brown. I did pull the shrubs and I'm planting pink knockout roses, white azaleas, and yellow and light pink snapdragons.

IMHO I would not paint the front door yellow it looks fine the way it is. Lol

With the house being the cream color and the shudders being green it would look weird to me

Paint it red. Google door colors. Each color is supposed to being something into your home. Like money, happiness, fertility (although I see your LO!!)

Haha funny. Paint the shutters the same color as the roof. I think a yellow door would be a nice pop of color.

What color yellow? Honestly, I think green or red would match better with the rest of the house, but if you're going to to yellow, make sure it's not too mustardy, know what I mean? I think a lighter yellow would be nice. Enjoy the project!

If u did i would do a cream yellow or light yellow. I love a shocking door. We painted our house barn red and the door john deere green with trim white.

I think it looks fine now.  Also, do you have homeowner association?  I know some will not allow you to use certain colors.  Not kidding.  That is the way it was in my old neighborhood.  You couldn't do anything without contacting them.
