I have an empty wine bottle that I was thinking of using to do a a twinkling lights bottle with. So I'm sitting here looking at it and got to wondering if it would be tacky or too redneck neck to paint it in realtree camo with some pink and put the lights inside and give it to my sister in law for my future nieces room. (due in May and who room is done in camo with hot pink) I worry about it breaking being in a babys room but its technically my sister in laws room BC she lives with her parents. I sorta think it looks cute in my head but Idk if I should do it. Some things.look or Sound good in my head, but then irl don't lol.

Try it and see what it actually looks like. I love homemade/recycled things.

Try it. If it looks bad you have an excuse to drink more wine!

I wouldn't because of the glass unless you rig it to hang. the other problem is the major point of twinkling bottles is that the glass is see through and lights up painting over all or most of it will make the light up part hard or impossible to see.
