My ds is in kindergarden. He has a "girlfriend" in his class. He's always making things for her in class. And she makes things for him too(coloring pages usually, he'll bring them home and show me) well he got a ring(plastic) and asked if he could give it to her, I told him sure. He came home today in tears. "Madelyn said her daddy told her she could not get anything else from me and she can't make me anything anymore" I don't get it. If I had a daughter i would think it was cute, and I do think it is now. He thinks its him that her dad doesn't like. Would you get mad if a boy was making and giving things to your daughter?

We would think it was adorable and probably try to get them together for playdates because they are such good friends.

Makes no sense to me. Father sounds like a paranoid creep.

Nah, it's all innocent. My son is 7 and a girl has a crush on him. It's cute.

That wouldn't bother me. It's sweet and innocent. Sounds like her dad overreacted.
