I Detest the Weak Woman Act

We've all seen it. Women who act weak or unable to do something just so they can get a man to do it for them. Sometimes, yes, we have to admit defeat and ask for a helping hand. But not with everything. Apart from medical restrictions, women should be able to do most everything around the house a man can do. Kill the bug. Unscrew a freaking lid. Take the trash out (yes, it may be cold and rainy but it won't kill you). Pump your own gas. Move the furniture. Change the light bulb. You want equality? You have to prove that it's merited. I would feel like such a pansy if I asked DH to do all these things for me. I'm capable of standing on a chair to reach something. I can pretty much lift or move whatever I want. Yeah it may be heavy, but I am still capable. It seems like most women would like the feeling of being capable and independent. Yes?

i agree, just not the bug part. they scare the shit out of me. i have a really bad bug phobia.

I can now the lawn myself. Sometimes I can't open jars and my cats kill bugs lol.
