Cleaning with bleach

I'm cleaning out a fridge and it needs bleach lol I'm a little hesitant to put food in it though with such a harsh chemical. Should I maybe rinse it off with water? Soap and water? What?

edit: sorry if this was unclear, I've already used the bleach.

Why does it need bleach? White vinegar will clean & disinfect it just as well and it is perfectly safe & non-toxic to use around food.

I wouldn't use bleach. Vinegar works just as well and is safe.

Yep :

I would do this over harsh chemicals any day.

Well I already used bleach :/  I wasn't really thinking of other things to use. My mom just gave me a spray bottle of bleach and said use that lol

I would never use bleach on food surfaces. If you already did. Rinse and rinse and rinse with water and rag changes in between.

Dilute it. Chances are your food is packaged etc. Its not an issue.

Dilute the bleach
When done clean over the area again with a wet cloth (just water)
Done.

Bleach is a safe organic cleanser as long as you do this:  dilute it to 1 part bleach to 6 parts water.  Put on plastic gloves when you work with  it.  Rinse thoroughly with plain water.  Know this that bleach disipates in 24 hours if you pour it on the ground.
