Yesterday I found out that I have ovarian cancer. I'm 27 with two kids. It doesn't run in my family, im the first. I'll have both my ovaries and uterus taken, its possible they may take my cervix too. Thus is being scheduled for as soon as I can get cardiac clearance due to one abnormal ekg. I'm terrified.
Monday I meet with my gynecological oncologist to discuss everything that will happen.
Oh and the reason I'm anon is just because I have some distant family on here I haven't spoken to yet.

My dh and (he's online with me) I will pray for your speedy recovery and that all goes well. He says have faith and you will b okay bc he says we women are strong. Hugs mamma!

No bright side here, I'm afraid. And what if she wasn't finished having kids? Kind of insensitive.

I had a full hyst at 24 due to Endometriosis, ovarian and cervical cancer. It sucks at first, I won't lie, but after your hormones balance out its awesome. No more periods, no more worrying about bc, no more mood swings, no more pms... (((((Hugs))))) its a rocky road at first, but in time you'll be glad you did it. Pm me if you like.

No, we weren't done having children. In fact we were TTC. However, we will adopt one day
