Yes but I do not believe in writing lines for punishment.I giggled that you posted this twice, as if you're writing lines as punishment. lol
Depending on the situation this is either acceptable or cushy.
Kindergarten teacher and mom.
Then yes, it was harsh.
I'm not in the habit of punishing for accidents. Accidents, by definition, are unintentional and we prefer to reserve punishment for intentional misbehaviours.
Further, using writing as a punishment isn't something I would advise or do myself. Writing isn't something I want my children to dislike and using it as punishment links it to something unpleasant.
But hey, to each their own.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol). Aimee
