UPDATE PG 4 - I left my front door unlocked when I left, and when I got home it was locked.

We live in a small town and I still won't leave my doors unlocked. No way. Too many weirdos out there.

We rarely lock our doors. A few times we have left and come home to our door being open. If hubby isnt with me I call my brother over. He just lives across the street. Its always been a case of someone not shutting the door all the way. Now I lock the doors.

I used to leave my house unlocked... One day, I came home to three raccoons in my house... We lock it now.

In your case... If you are positive you didn't lock it, don't go in. Call 911 and wait in your car.

I used to do that when I loved in the middle of nowhere. Then I realized that's the perfect place to get robbed and no one would notice something going on. Always lock your doors mama!

This only it was my front door. They came in locked it and left out the backdoor by making a crazy thing out of coat hangers etc. I know because i called in to report someoe broke in ( my dog was missing ) & they informed me they had a call to an unsecure premises.
