so in June last year i bought pretty much a brand new medela pump. the lady used it two weeks and gave up breastfeeding. i miscarried in july so it has been sitting in my closet. well i found out i am pregnant and was wondering if it would be safe to use if i buy all new accessories? i plab on cleaning the diaphragm as well.

I've heard some medela electric pumps have mold issues in the motor, but I'm really not sure. I just use a little hand pump. Ask the ladies in the Breastfeeding mom's group

Yes it's safe. Just buy new tubing and stuff. I bought my pump off of EBay and resold it when I was done.

If you go to Medela to buy new parts they tell you that they won't see them to you if it's for a used pump. I wouldn't use a used pump.
