Can a venomous bug bite cause head pressure/pain?

I have already posted about this, and the only reason I have not been to the hospital is because I am out of a vehicle temporarily and NO ONE will take me. I have asked everyone in my family.

The bite has swollen more today. I tried to squeeze it to see if maybe it could be a bad zit, but it turned dark purple when I squeezed it. The purple is fading, but in the the light I could see red, slightly itchy streaks developing over the area. The entire side of my thigh that it is on feels as if I've been working out all day. Muscle cramps.

I am startng to get a stinging pressure in my head and eyeball pressure. I am running low on sleep, but I'm not going to die if I wait until tomorrow to try to get a ride?

Does this sound like a bite yet??

It sounds like the bite is infected. Which can make you sick all over so yes.

Call 911. Take a ambulance to the hospital.

Why wouldn't you call 911 for transport?

Do you think it is really necessary? I have had 2 hours of sleep, a 5 month old snoozing in my lap with no one to watch her, and have work tomorrow. But if it could hurt me badly, I don't want to risk it.

It's your choice to make but it just doesn't sound good to me. I would atleast call the hospital and ask them what they think you should do.

Red streaks mean infection is likely. Yes, you need to go to the hospital. Call a cab.

Can you not call 911 and have them pick you up?

It's a venomous insect, that could be lethal.
