What would you do if your child's teacher

Told your special needs child they should be in clown school?  In first grade.

I would have a nice little chat with her about her very inappropriate comment to a child and then report her behavior to the school administration! That is NOT okay!

I would normally say find out the context in which the comment was made, but if you ask me there is no appropriate context for that one!

My class clown would be thrilled. He is ASD and ADHD... he is a riot some days.

My daughter is very sensitive and came home very upset about it.  She says she is afraid to go to school everyday now.

Yep. Was your child being silly or did she say it because your dd is sn?

It depends I. The context. Was your child fooling around and being silly? Then it would be cute. If your child was working on math problems and the teacher said it because they were all wrong then I would be upset.
