Get a marshmallow (or small treat they love) set a timer for 15 mins. Tell them if they wait the 15 mins to eat the treat they can have 2. If they do not wait they can only have the one.

Children who waited the 15 mins were proven to be smarter, be adjusted and to have less mental and drug problems!

I don't have a reference. I saw it on dr Phil lol

The kids need to be at least 3!

Haha no I think they sit there and ate it right in front of the psychiatrist. They owned that shit!

My kids two. There's no way a marshmallow would last 5 minutes. Let alone 15.

Well, my kid is screwed. :P

Maybe I'll try it with crackers (she loves crackers, we don't have marshmellows).
