Did you and your DH have a break-up before getting married or was your courtship uninterrupted?

I read a statistic once that a good indicator that a marriage will survive is if the entire courtship is uninterrupted (including dating and engagement).  What is the situation with you and your DH?  What is your opinion of this theory, married or not?

We never separated before we got married. We did separate last year though for a couple of months but now our marriage is better than ever.

We got in a fight and I went to my moms for a night. Made plans to move out....

And he called me crying wanting me to come home at 1 am the next morning! Lol, less than 24 hours. Does that count?

We never broke up. Dated six years have been married for almost fourteen

Ditto! Except we separated 3 years ago not last year. We have been married for 8 years.

My parents broke up before they were married and they have been married for 36 years.

We had arguments where we didn't talk for a couple days to give each other space, but we never actually broke up.
