What's good about having a boy?

I'm having a bit of gender dissapointment/fear.  I hate sports, though I know not all men are into it.  Mostly I'm afraid I'll never have that close relationships like mothers and daughters can have.  I won't have a "friend" when I'm old and I'll be some woman's mother in law lol.  In my family and in my husband's we were way closer to our mother's parents than our father's.  It feels like this is pretty common but maybe not always?

I can't wait to have a boy...i have 2 girls and i pray our next is a boy. Seems fun. My husband and I aren't sports people either so whether our son is or not, i can't wait. I had the whole gender disappointment thing with my last pregnancy because I miscarried a boy right before and when I found out she was a girl i was just really upset so i understand where your coming from but I am so absolutely in love with her now.

I Love my boys and always kissing owies and having to take clean clothes to them at school cuz they jumped into a mud puddle and their strong firm hugs and their fascination with anything slippery, slimy and scaly lol...theyre my lil men and I love having them...

Diaper changes r easier lol spend less money on clothes. Play and watch cool action movies instead of stupid barbie crap :p having your son open doors for y ou and buy you a ring for mothers day. Boys r awesome. And they r just as sweet and adorable as girls
