If your thinking about having this done...I urge you to research it and research more. Ask your doctor about all the side effects. I blindly had mine tied because I figured my doctor would have warned me of any possible risks. Well she didn't. Now I have horrible pms and horrible periods. I have done research now and everything I'm experiencing matches tubal ligation syndrome. It doesn't happen to everyone but please just be prepared.

Ha! I totally agree with you! Everything has gotten worse since I had my tubes tied 6 years ago.

I only have 1 tube to tie and it's being done. DH is also getting a vasectomy.

As with any surgery, there are risks and the possibility of side effects. I would recommend everyone having any kind of surgery, do research, including asking questions first.
I had my tubal done over 15 years ago and have had absolutley no problems.

That's what I'm saying. I'll never go into another surgery blind.
