My son is abnormally muscular. And I'm being serious. I get comments all the time on how "stacked" he is from my little brother and his friends. Is this a problem? Is this normal for some 8 year olds? He can lift an adult.

Some kids are just like that.  I've known several.  People in my family are that way, too and the men are usually fully grown by 12, and by fully grown I mean 6' tall and stacked.  It's weird, lol.

If this is real, you need to get him checked. There is some disorder that causes that and can be really bad for his heart, since that is a muscle as well.

I don't know. Have you asked his doctor?

Let's see him.

I'm betting his pediatrician would tell you if there was something abnormal going on.

This is a doctor question, not a cafemom question. But unless he's working out ALL THE TIME, most muscle development probably shouldn't be happening until puberty-ish or after.
